Overview: Section 13 of House Bill 377 would have increased eligibility to participate in Safe Babies Court to include families who have at least one child who is no more than 5 years of age.
House Bill 377 was ratified by the General Assembly on August 6, 2026, and was vetoed by the Governor on August 17, 2026.
