Overview: Section 7.42 of S.L. 2026‑41 (Senate Bill 257) repeals the requirement that the Department of Public Instruction use $82,100 dollars per fiscal year of lapsed salary funds for the 2025‑2027 fiscal biennium to provide dedicated operating funds for the Charter Schools Review Board, including funds for meeting expenses, non‑employee travel and subsistence reimbursement, and legal services.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
