2011 Redistricting Process
The 2011 round of statewide redistricting occurred following release of the official 2010 census counts in March of 2011. Public hearings were held, and new US House, NC House, and NC Senate district plans enacted by the end of July 2011. All three plans were subsequently used for the 2012 and 2014 elections.
